We are seeking a Business Development Manager to serve as the face of Otolane in the GTA. In this role, you will nurture relationships with dealerships, support our online dealer-to-dealer auction platform, and help streamline wholesale operations across your territory.
What You'll Do
• Build and maintain strong relationships with dealerships to drive business growth.
• Manage dealer consignment and purchases, meeting targets for engagement and sales.
• Address customer concerns promptly, collaborating with our Dealer Support, Arbitration and Technical teams.
• Present Otolane’s products and services to enhance dealership profitability and efficiency.
• Develop strategies with clients to improve their wholesale operations.
• Provide training to customers and perform vehicle captures as required.
• Stay informed on product innovations, market trends, competitor activity, and changing customer needs.
• Analyze sales data, generate reports, and perform administrative duties related to sales.
• Contribute ideas to optimize marketing and outreach initiatives.
• Represent Otolane at industry events, trade shows, and promotional activities.
• Evaluate sales performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and track competition within your region.
What We're Looking For
• Minimum 3 years of outside sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships and close deals.
• Experience executing all stages of a sales cycle effectively.
• Track record of achieving sales growth and revenue targets.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Comfort with adapting to new technology and software tools.
